The superstructure to Yard no. 126 was assembled at Simek 13/05/2012. The ship will be delivered medio July 2012 to Duh Boats 2 Partnership C.V

126 - Sealaunching

Yard no. 126 was launched at Simek today, 12/05/2012. The ship will be delivered medio July 2012 to Duh Boats 2 Partnership C.V. Here, you can see many pictures from the launching.

Today, 10th May, the lifting-crane arrived to Flekkefjord. The crane will assemble the superstructure on Sunday 13th May 2012.

126 - The hull is now ready for sea - launching!

The hull is now painted completely, and the equiptment for sea-launching is installed. We're very excited for this weekend!

Ny kontrakt! Bygg nr.125

Simek A/S har signert en ny kontrakt med rederiet Atlantic Offshore AS om bygging av en supply båt av typen UT 755 LC. Rederiet, er lokalisert på Sotra utenfor Bergen og rederiet er et nytt bekjentskap for Simek A/S. Vi håper at vi i fremtiden kan få bygge flere båter til dem og ser frem til en god byggeprosess.

126 - Update

NB 126 is soon ready for sea-launching. The mounting of the propellers and the rudder are completed. The hull will be painted during this and the next week.

121, Stril Mariner - Oppdatering på ombyggingen

Nå er vi snart kommet halvveis i ombyggingen. Det meste begynner å komme på plass, og nå gjenstår det masse sveising  og rørlegging før skipet er klart om cirka 3 uker.

126 - Propellers are mounted

Earlier this week, the propellers was mounted to the rest of the hull. The hull is getting more and more ready to the  sea-launching 12th Maty 2012.

121, Stril Mariner - Seksjonene er løftet ombord

Arbeidet ombord på Stril Mariner fortsetter. Nå har arbeiderne begynt å sveise sammen seksjonen som ble løftet ombord tidligere. I dag tok vi en 360 graders tur oppi heisekranen.

121, Stril Mariner - Skipet har ankommet

Stril Mariner ankom Simek på søndag, 15 april 2012. Arbeidet med å montere hangaren og en arbeidsbåt har allerede startet, og det vil ta fem uker å bygge om skipet.

126 - Block 4 has been assembled week 14 - 12

Block 4 has now been sandblasted and painted and placed in correct position at the slipway. When the painting of the whole ship is done, it's ready for sea-launching 12th May.

121, Stril Mariner- Seksjonene er klare for montering

De nye seksjonene til Stril Mariner er nå klare for montering. Monteringen vil skje når skipet ankommer Simek i begynnelsen av uke 15.

Block 3 has now been sandblasted and painted and placed in correct position at the slipway.

New Offices

While we renovated our workshops, we also builded a whole new office located between the construction hall and the workshop. This office is for the managers of the different departments on Simek.

Upgraded Workshop

Through June to August 2011, we renovated our workshop's. The cranes got a whole new look, and a rock stamp. Also, we laid a whole new floor at the two building halls.

126 - Block 2 has been assembled week 09 - 12

Block 2 has now been sandblasted and painted and placed in correct position at the slipway. When the two last blocks (3-4) have been sandblasted and painted, they will be assembled after order at the slipway.

Erik Espenes ansatt som Leder for Offshoravdelingen ved Simek AS.

Simek AS har ansatt Erik Espenes fra Flekkefjord, som leder for den nyopprettede offshoreavdelingen. Espenes kommer fra Halvorsen Offshore som prosjektleder
